Business IT Support

Computer trouble?
Let’s work through it.

We help businesses with computer problems, email issues and new starters. Our support is delivered through booked remote appointments or agreed on-site visits.

Who this suits

The right help for your team.

Small businesses, founders and teams needing help with everyday technology, new starters or specialist executive support. We can also work alongside your existing IT team on an agreed requirement.

What we can help with

Practical work.
Clear outcomes.

These are service areas we can scope together. Your proposal confirms the specific inclusions.

Everyday troubleshooting

Investigate device, application, email and access issues. Agree the next step when a problem needs a supplier, hardware repair or further specialist work.

Device and user setup

Configure laptops, business applications and user access. Data transfer, device management and security policies are assessed and scoped separately.

Workplace support

Help with printers and mobile devices where remote access and the available equipment allow it. On-site visits are agreed when hands-on work is needed.

What you receive

A record of the work completed, the outcome and any remaining actions. Where useful, we provide simple guidance to help your team avoid the same problem again.

Scope and availability

Support is delivered through booked evening and Saturday appointments. Daytime work is available only by prior agreement. Standard support does not include continuous monitoring, guaranteed resolution times or emergency and 24-hour cover.

Business IT Health Checks & Audits

Know what is working.
Know what needs attention.

A practical review for businesses that want a clearer picture of their IT, recurring problems or priorities before investing in changes.

Devices and accounts

Review the agreed device inventory, operating system support, updates, encryption and common performance issues. Check Microsoft 365 users, administrator access, MFA, licences and relevant email settings.

Files and recovery

Review where business files are stored, sharing permissions and documented backup arrangements. Check available evidence of recovery testing; any restore test is separately agreed before it is carried out.

Everyday IT processes

Look at how starters and leavers are handled, how devices and access are managed, and who owns documentation, suppliers and recurring support issues.

A useful findings report

Receive findings supported by the evidence reviewed, prioritised actions and recommended next steps. We identify what was not checked or could not be verified and discuss the report with your business contact.

Scope agreed before the review

We confirm the users, devices, systems, access, review depth and report deliverables in a written quote. Reviews are read-only where practical. Configuration changes, remediation and disruptive testing require separate agreement.

What this audit means

This is a practical operational IT review, not formal compliance assurance, penetration testing or a Cyber Essentials certification assessment. Specialist security testing and certification are outside this service. If you are preparing for Cyber Essentials, see our readiness and remediation service.

Findings reflect the agreed scope and evidence available at the time. Reviewing backup settings does not prove recovery will succeed, and the report does not guarantee that every fault or security weakness has been identified.

How delivery works

Agreed before
we start.

Costs are tailored to the requirement. We confirm the scope, price and payment terms before a booking is agreed.

01

Describe the issue

Tell us the affected device, symptoms, number of users and impact on work.

02

Agree the appointment

We confirm suitability, authorised access, scope, price and payment terms before the session.

03

Resolve and hand over

We investigate, explain any proposed changes and agree additional work before proceeding.

Questions about this service

Can you audit our business IT?

Yes. Our Business IT Health Checks & Audits review agreed systems and processes, with a findings report and prioritised recommendations. We confirm scope and evidence requirements first. Formal certification and specialist security testing are excluded.

Can you connect remotely?

Yes, where the device has working internet and supports the agreed remote access tool. You approve the session. Physical faults, connectivity failures and some installations may require an on-site visit.

Can I book regular support?

We can agree prepaid hours or an ongoing arrangement with a defined scope and availability. Included hours, exclusions and escalation arrangements are confirmed in writing.

Will every issue be fixed in one session?

Some problems need further investigation, replacement hardware or a third-party supplier. We explain the findings and options rather than promise a fix before assessment.

Tell us what you need help with.

Explain the problem or the change you are planning, where you are based and when you need help. Plain English is fine. Please leave out passwords and sensitive data.

Getting started

From agreement
to a clear handover.

You know what happens next, who owns each step and what is needed before delivery begins.

01 / CONFIRM

Accept the proposal.

Review and accept the scope, price, exclusions, payment terms and success criteria. We confirm delivery dates once the proposal is accepted and the payment terms are agreed.

02 / PREPARE

Agree access and ownership.

Nominate your business contact and confirm devices, systems and authorised access. We agree how credentials and MFA will be handled; do not send passwords in an enquiry.

03 / DELIVER

Keep the work visible.

We record work completed and update you at the agreed checkpoints. Decisions, blockers and any additional work are discussed before the scope changes.

04 / HAND OVER

Confirm the next steps.

Check the agreed deliverables together and receive the relevant notes, outstanding actions and ownership details. Any follow-up support is defined in the proposal.

For prepaid or ongoing support, we also agree the contact route, eligible requests, availability, time recording and escalation options. Standard booked support does not include continuous monitoring or emergency cover.

Providers and retention

Our Microsoft 365 email provider and website hosting providers process information needed to deliver these services. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, manage any resulting engagement and meet applicable record keeping obligations. Retention depends on whether the enquiry leads to work, remains active or is needed to resolve a dispute.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information and, where applicable, request deletion, restriction or portability. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
